NCV/EMG Training: Electrodiagnostic Studies for Neuromuscular Disorders

Course Overview

Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) and Electromyography (EMG) training provides physicians with skills to perform and interpret electrodiagnostic studies for neuromuscular disorders. This course covers the technical aspects of testing and clinical correlation for accurate diagnosis.

Participants learn proper electrode placement, stimulation techniques, waveform analysis, and interpretation of findings. The curriculum includes hands-on practice and case studies to develop competency in electrodiagnostic testing.

Electrodiagnostic Training Covers:

  • Neuroanatomy and physiology review
  • NCV testing techniques and protocols
  • EMG needle examination procedures
  • Waveform analysis and interpretation
  • Common pathologies and diagnostic patterns
  • Report writing and clinical correlation
  • Equipment selection and maintenance

Electrodiagnostic capabilities enhance your ability to diagnose and manage patients with neuromuscular complaints.
