Our Commitment
Aesthetic Education is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standards, which are widely recognized as the benchmark for web accessibility in the United States and internationally.
Measures We Have Taken
- Use of semantic HTML elements (headings, lists, tables) to provide a logical structure that works with screen readers.
- Full keyboard navigation support, allowing users to move through all interactive elements without a mouse.
- Descriptive alternative text for images, icons, and decorative graphics where appropriate.
- Color contrast ratios that meet or exceed the 4.5:1 minimum for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
- Captions and transcripts for video content where they are provided by the training providers.
- Responsive design that adapts to a range of screen sizes and orientations, ensuring readability on mobile devices and desktop monitors.
- Clear focus indicators for interactive elements such as links, buttons, and form fields.
- Cookie-consent banner that respects Do-Not-Track signals and does not activate analytics cookies until consent is given.
Known Limitations
- Some older PDF documents linked from the site may not be fully accessible to screen-reader users.
- Embedded Vimeo videos rely on Vimeo’s own accessibility features; if a video lacks captions, we cannot add them.
- The LiveChat widget (provided by LiveChat, Inc.) is a third-party service and may not fully conform to WCAG 2.2 AA.
- Dynamic content loaded via Google Tag Manager may occasionally introduce brief focus-order changes that are not announced to assistive technologies.

Assessment Approach
