Physician assistants are increasingly drawn to aesthetic medicine because many already work in specialties that value quick, visible results - family medicine, dermatology, and emergency care. Your existing training in patient assessment, sterile technique, and procedural confidence provides a solid foundation for injectable treatments. Adding Botox, dermal fillers, PRP, or sclerotherapy can broaden your service offerings and meet patient demand for minimally invasive rejuvenation. These procedures complement your clinical skill set, allowing you to deliver comprehensive care that addresses both health and aesthetic concerns.
On this page you'll find an overview of our hands-on aesthetic injectable workshops designed specifically for PAs. We outline the online learning modules, the in-person training day with live patients, the skills you'll master, and the steps to secure your seat. You'll also see how the curriculum builds on your current expertise, the certification you receive, and how to confirm the supervising-physician requirements with your state board before you begin.
Your training begins with a series of online modules that you can complete at your own pace. These videos and readings cover basic facial anatomy, product science, safety protocols, and patient communication. After the digital portion, you attend a single, intensive hands-on day limited to six participants. In a clinical setting, physician instructors guide you through live-patient injections, demonstrating proper technique, dosing, and complication management. The small group ensures personalized feedback and ample practice time. By the end of the day you will have performed multiple injections, received a certificate of completion with CME credit where applicable, and be prepared to integrate aesthetic services into your practice.
